Ball Hog Skewers

Mango and jerk seasoning gives these kabobs a unique flavor harmony.

Serves 2 to 4

  • 4 Tender Choice® boneless pork loin chops (each 5-6 oz ea), cut 1 inch thick
  • 1 medium red onion, peeled
  • 1 mango, fresh or in a jar
  • 12 inch bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • Vegetable oil, as needed
  • Jerk seasoning
Cooking Directions:

Cut pork loin into 4x1x½ inch thick pieces.
Cut onion and mango into 1x1 inch pieces.
Thread pork strips, onion and mango on bamboo skewers; brush with oil and season with jerk seasoning.
Grill over medium heat until pork has reached an internal temperature of 145° F on a meat thermometer and the mango is charred.
Serve with hot sauce.
